Public Liability

Vibrant Sounds take every care to ensure the safety of our clients, their guests and the staff at the venues at which we perform.

To this end we aim to ensure that all loose cables are tied or taped-up, this not only keeps the DJ rig looking tidy, but also prevents the cables from becoming trip hazards. We will wherever possible keep the legs of all stands away from the public area thus also limiting the possiblilty of potential trip hazards.
We do insist whilst setting up on keeping clear passage to all exits, and make a point of locating and remembering the position of the local fire exinguishers.

Whilst we have never had an accident occur during one of Vibrant Sounds performances, we accept that the potential for such is possible, and to this end Vibrant Sounds carries Public Liability Insurance (PLI) to the value of £10,000,000 (£10 million). Many of the more upmarket venues will not now accept less than £5 million PLI for entertainers.

Requirements of Venues:

As many venues now require certificated proof of Public Liability Insurance, and many have also set minimum limits as to what they will accept.

Should your venue require proof of our Public Liability Insurance, clients with a confirmed booking may request a copy of our current certificate to forward to the venue, or should the booking be for a wedding reception, I will personally give the venue a copy of my PLI certificate during my pre-event visit to the venue.
